Celebrating women’s innovation in Tech World with Aurora Tech Award

Karachi: Annual Aurora Tech Award launched in 2020 is aimed to acknowledge women in IT startups. Award aims to provide support and acknowledgment for their outstanding contributions by empowering and normalising successful women leaders in tech industry. Award is an instrument of transformation, where barriers yield to opportunities and challenges morph into triumphs.

Judged by panel of renowned women tech leaders including Sadaf Abid entrepreneur and founder of tech organisation ‘Circle’ and CEO Kash Foundation award’s mission is threefold, to applaud strides of women in IT entrepreneurship, to empower them with resources they deserve through substantial cash prizes and to shatter very gender biases that have long confined industry.

“In tech world still grappling with gender disparity, awards like Aurora Tech Award are catalysts for change”, Ekaterina Smirnova Executive Director of Aurora Tech Award said.

Aspirants criteria includes women founder, funding stage, operation time and minimum viable product. Applications can be submitted via award’s website at https://www.auroratechaward.com/ by December 1, 2023.
