KARACHI: Formal consultations between Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah and leader of opposition Rana Ansar on provincial caretaker setup will begin after August 11, sources informed.

Government and opposition leaders will discuss caretaker setup of Sindh after dissolution of Sindh Assembly. Chief Minister and opposition leader are expected to reach consensus over name for caretaker Chief Minister, sources claimed. An announcement of name of caretaker CM from CM House is likely on night of August 14, sources said.

In case of disagreement between both leaders matter will be sent to parliamentary committee for decision. As per constitutional mechanism CM and opposition leader have to reach to consensus for top office of interim set up within span of three days.

Later if deadlock persists in parliamentary committee, Election Commission will announce name of caretaker CM in next two days.
