Caretaker Punjab govt dissolves market commmittees

LAHORE: Caretaker Punjab government dissolved all market committees of province.

Decision was taken in 14th meeting of Provincial Cabinet with caretaker Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi in chair. Meeting also decided to give age relaxation in recruitment to children of police officers and personnel martyred or died during their service.

Cabinet approved amendments in Police Rules, 1934 in this regard. Caretaker Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi directed provincial ministers to visit Dar al-Shafaqat, jails and hospitals on Eid holidays and asked them to share joy of Eid with people there.
