Caretaker PM constitutes Cabinet Committee for Energy

ISLAMABAD: Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaarul-Haq Kakar constituted Cabinet Committee for Energy as caretaker Minister for Power and Petroleum Muhammad Ali has been appointed Chairman of Cabinet's Energy Committee.

Ministers for Finance, Revenue, Economic Affairs, Privatisation, Planning, Communications, Railways, Maritime Affairs, Law, Climate Change and Water Resources will be members of Energy Committee. Caretaker PM decided not to keep Chairman's office of Energy Committee with him and entrusted it to Energy Minister. Former Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif was holding office of Chairman Energy Committee in capacity of Prime Minister.
