Karachi: Caretaker Sindh Health Minister Dr. Saad Khalid and CEO Karachi Water and Sewerage Corporation Syed Sallahuddin Ahmed discussed Water Corporation and health issues. CEO gave briefing to supervising Health Minister about process of chlorination to prevent Naegleria and said that Water Corporation is working day and night to prevent Naegleria, while required dosing of Chlorine is being added to water supplied to citizens according to standard and quantity set by World Health Organisation.

He said that chlorination of water is done continuously for 24 hours from all filter plants of Water Corporation and in this regard, on daily basis, concerned officers make regular visits to various filter plants and other installations to check chlorination process completely.

Caretaker Health Minister appreciated efforts made by CEO Water Corporation and urged to continue to play an effective role to further improve reform agenda.
