ISLAMABAD: JI Amir Siraj ul Haq said simultaneous and not separate election should be held in country. “Most important issue in country is when election should be held. It is better election are held at same time in country. Constitution is not so weak that it will stand abolished due to differences over election. He said this while talking to media men outside Supreme Court (SC) here.

“We want to participate in such election where there is no rigging. Separate elections should not take place in country. It is better they are held at same time, he observed.

He went on to say that outcome of holding separate election will lead nation to difficulties. National economy is deteriorating due to political chaos and constitutional crisis.

He held political instability is impacting institutions and poor people adversely. People have run out of food sources. Internal conflicts of politicians are badly affecting people.   He remarked “Election is not issue of any one political party. We want such date which is acceptable to all. He said we sincerely propose care taker governments should be installed in centre and provinces and political parties should sit together and settle date for election.
