Cabinet proposes joint in-camera meeting of NSC, Parliament

Islamabad: Cabinet passed resolution condemning terrorism and Peshawar blast. A joint in-camera meeting of National Security Committee (NSC) and Parliament proposed by Cabinet members on prevailing security situation of country.
A resolution condemning Imran Khan’s statement regarding Asif Zardari was also passed by Cabinet. Peshawar blast was strongly condemned in federal cabinet meeting chaired by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, preliminary report of Peshawar blast was also reviewed in meeting.
Addressing meeting, Shehbaz Sharif said that menace of terrorism is resurfacing. He inquired who brought these terrorists back to Pakistan.
Who said that they are jihadists and friends of Pakistan? Who said that these people have surrendered their arms and will contribute to development of country?
Prime Minister vowed to eradicate terrorism through collective efforts and said that terrorism will spread in Pakistan if appropriate measures are not taken immediately. Cabinet members insisted on decisive action to crush terrorists.
