NEW YORK: Responding to Indian terror allegations, Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that Osama bin Laden has died but "Butcher of Gujarat" is still alive and has become Prime Minister of India.

"I want to tell India that Osama bin Laden is dead, but butcher of Gujarat lives and he is Prime Minister of India," Bhutto said while responding to Indian Minister of Foreign Affairs S. Jaishankar's remarks.

While addressing press conference in New York, foreign minister said that Indian government does not believe in Gandhi's ideology but believes in ideology of his killers. Indian government is influenced by Hitler, FM Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said. He said that terrorist elements in Pakistan are getting support from neighbouring country. FM Bilawal apprised media of dossier issued by Pakistan containing pieces of evidence of Indian involvement in Lahore's Johar Town blast.

Workers from India’s ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Friday staged a protest against Pakistan near the country’s embassy in New Delhi over Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari’s remarks about Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, according to Indian media reports.

At Bilawal’s briefing, a journalist asked him why the Indian and Pakistani foreign ministers were engaged in a war of words.

“This is not in a war of words. I have not noticed,” the foreign minister said, adding that he was a victim of terrorism as his mother was killed by terrorists along with thousands of other Pakistanis.

“We have lost far more lives to terrorism than India did,” said FM Bilawal, while pointing out that “India has been playing in the space” that has made it “very easy” to bracket Muslims with terrorism.
