Bus-trawler collision leaves 17 dead in Kohat

Peshawar: At least 17 persons were killed and one got wounds after collision between trawler truck and passenger bus in Kohat district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP).

According to reports, trawler collided with passenger bus coming from opposite side of road. Initial investigation showed that accident took place due to brake failure of trawler. Passenger coach was travelling from Lucky Marwat to Peshawar.

Women and children are among deceased travellers. Rescue workers said that bodies of deceased people were shifted to hospital while injured persons getting medical assistance. Police teams and local administration rushed to site and cleared road for rescue activities.
