Business community meets Agha SirajDurrani, discuss key issues

KARACHI: A delegation of traders informed acting Governor Sindh Agha SirajDurrani about issuers being faced, double taxation and other complaints. I will try my best to solve problems of business community on priority basis. Agha Siraj said.

President All City Traders Union Hamad Poonawalla, Patron Chief ShoaibKhanji, senior Vice President Abdul QadirNoorani, Joint Secretary Muhammad Ali Qureshi, Vice President MansoorQadwani and Ahsan Aslam Gujjar met him. Delegation informed Durrani about issues oand due to recent rain, markets are facing problems, rainwater is still accumulating in various markets, which is causing problems to shopkeepers and buyers, as well as traders are worried about announced and unannounced load shedding of electricity. Inspite of this, bills are being paid in excess. Expressing desire of delegation to meet with Federal Finance Minister, they said that business community wants Federal Finance Minister to resolve FBR and other issues.

Durrani said that businessmen are like backbone of national economy, problems of business community will be solved on a priority basis. He said that I will talk to Minister of Finance to meet business community and I will also try my best to solve problems of businessmen.

He said that initiatives of provincial government are commendable, public welfare projects are ongoing in province. Delegation thanked acting Governor and said that his interest in affairs of business community is welcomed.
