Business community discusses eco, traders’ issues with Gov Tessori

Karachi: A delegation of businessmen headed by business leader Atiq Mir met Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori at Governor's House.
Alam, Adnan, Akmal, Javed, Danish, Mohsen, Nasser, Shoaib, Sadiq, Saleem, Javed Bharam, Sami and Khalid Jilani among members of team. Improvement of infrastructure, elimination of load shedding, sanitation situation and difficulties being faced by business community were discussed. Governor said that business community is backbone of national economy. He said that increase in economic activities is need of hour. In this regard, steps will be taken to solve problems being faced by businessmen on priority. Governor said that he has sent strong protest message on Sweden incident to his ambassador. Atiq Mir said that vision of Governor to solve issues of traders was welcomed. He said that Swedish incident has deeply affected business community.
Meanwhile, delegation of Azadari organisation met Governor Tessori under leadership of Chairman SM Naqvi. Arrangements for Muharram, desecration of Holy Quran in Sweden, economic initiatives of government and other issues were discussed. Governor said that government will provide all possible facilities to mourners during Muharram. He said that desecration of Holy Quran cannot be tolerated. In this regard, letter to Ambassador of Sweden has been sent. He demanded an apology on this incident. He said that government's economic initiatives started yielding positive results. SM Naqvi said that government's initiatives for mourners during Muharram-ul-Haram are commendable.
