ISLAMABAD: Nikah Khawan Mufti Muhammad Saeed recorded his statement in Islamabad district court in case of “Non shariah nikah against Bushra Bibi and Imran Khan.” Mufti Muhammad Saeed Ahmad along with his counsel Raja Rizwan Abbasi appeared in court of senior civil judge Nasar Minallah.

He said in his statement Imran Khan contacted him on call on January 1, 2018. He had good relationship with Imran Khan and he was member of PTI core committee. He stated, “Imran Khan asked me to solemnise his nikkah with Bushra Bibi. Imran also said to me he has to go to Lahore to solemnise nikah.

According to Mufti Saeed one lady who was with Bushra Bibi showed her as sister of Bushra Bibi. I asked that lady if nikah of Bushra Bibi can be solemnised according to Shariah.

Lady told all shariah conditions of nikah are complete. Lady told Imran Khan nikah can be solemnised with Bushra Bibi.

Mufti Saeed said Imran Khan nikah was solemnised with Bushra Bibi on January 1, 2018 on assurance of that lady. Imran Khan again contacted me in February 2018 and requested that his nikah with Bushra Bibi `has to be solemnised again.
