Bushra Bibi gets protective bail amid arrest scare

Lahore: Lahore High Court approved protective bail for Bushra Bibi, wife of PTI Chairman Imran Khan in connection with case registered at Islamabad’s Kohisar Police Station amid fears that she might be arrested before hearing of his plea. LHC’s Justice Muhammad Amjad Rafiq took up bail plea filed by Bushra Bibi earlier in day.

Former first lady appeared in court herself to plead her case. Court granted her protective bail until June 21. Heavy contingent of police was deployed outside courtroom triggering fears that Bushra Bibi might be arrested before hearing.
