KARACHI: Book discussing agricultural problems of Sindh penned by agriculture expert Mustafa Nangraj was recently launched at Arts Council of Pakistan.

Sindh Agriculture Minister Sardar Muhammad Bux Khan Mahar was chief guest at launch ceremony who said awareness programmes would be initiated to provide modern knowledge to farmers of Sindh.He added that agriculture sector of Sindh was strong but there was room for improvement. He said Sindh government was working on providing solar power to farmers.

He called for focusing on exporting mangoes and starting initiatives to promote organic farming and use of eco-friendly fertilizers. Author said that he had mentioned in his book management policies in agriculture and dire need for new projects in Thar.
