Following gun attack in Iran, families of victims protested in front of assistant commissioner’s office in Alipur and demanded government ensure return of remains of their loved ones for burial in their native towns.

Media reported that no entity had yet claimed responsibility for attack, adding that deceased hailed from Punjab, specifically originating from Multan, Bahawalpur and Muzaffargarh districts.
