Karachi: Karachi based blogger Zia A Zuberi was mugged by three street criminals while his car was stuck in a traffic jam just before entering Lyari Expressway ramp. Three muggers on firearm looted him while some six to seven other vehicle were also looted.

He filed a complaint in this regard to Station House Officer FB Area Police Station in which he narrated by giving details of belongings he lost during incident. He said that criminals deprived him of cash, foreign currency, Visa Debit Card, Master Card, driving license, smartphone, CNIC and other documents as well. Meanwhile, west zone police cooperated with him and DIG Nasir Aftab ordered an inquiry into incident besides to apprehend involved criminals in the incident.

Moreover, the victim Zia Zuberi expressed complete satisfaction over the cooperation of the police. While talking to this scribe, blogger said that criminal activities in the city are rising with every passing day. He also demanded the Karachi Police Chief to play an effective role in getting rid of this menace by ensuring safe and secure environment to the dwellers in the city.
