ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Peoples’ Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said those found guilty of violating Constitution must be penalised.

Speaking on floor of National Assembly, he alleged that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf misused cipher for political gains. As misuse of cipher is violation of Constitution, he said, PTI should be penalised.

He claimed that PTI founder politicised cipher by printing copy and publishing it in international publications. Bilawal said PTI founder claimed that government lost cipher. He demanded punishment for those involved in politicisation of cipher.

He sought opposition support for judicial and election reforms. Bilawal spoke out against raid on Mahmood Achakzai’s house. He said he unequivocally condemned raid on Achakzai’s house and said presidential election was being made controversial.

Bilawal sought Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s support for abolition of “Unwanted federal ministries”. He stressed grand dialogue was need of hour to avert economic crisis.  He insisted that policymakers should take decisions that empower and strengthen parliament and democracy as National Assembly represented all. Bilawal pledged to empower democratic institutions and ensure bright future of youth.

He added that country needed to overcome various crises, including inflation, poverty and unemployment. He suggested making code of conduct for politics, as it would help eradicate crises plaguing nation.  Referring to Omar Ayub’s reservation on banning his speech on TV, Bilawal criticised PTI founder for practicing undemocratic culture.
