LARKANA: PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said his mandate could not be handed over to anyone else and added that people had every right to cast their votes.

Talking to media at polling station which visited to poll his vote, Bilawal asked people to leave their homes and exercise their basic right, as he opined that suspending mobile phone service would result in low turnout while also making it difficult to contact returning officers.

Bilawal had previously accused three-time Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif of trying to influence caretaker governments for favourable results.

However, PPP has been facing allegations of vote buying in Lahore where his rival candidate Attaullah Tarar told him that city wasn’t no-go area and he didn’t enjoy any public support.

Bilawal Bhutto pointed out how electoral Results are incredibly slow coming in. However, he said initial results were Very encouraging with PPP candidates and independents performing well.

Earlier in day, PPP Chairman had criticised move to suspend mobile phone and internet service across Pakistan, asking his party to move courts and Election Commission of Pakistan.

Later, PPP like JI and PTI asked ECP through written application to intervene and get communication services unblocked.
