KARACHI: Pakistan Peoples' Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that solutions to challenges will be sought in collaboration with the business community.
Addressing a luncheon held in honour of traders here, Bilawal Bhutto emphasised improving communication and said that if there are complaints against Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah, they should be addressed directly.
He urged complaints against ministers or bureaucrats to be brought to him, reiterating that resolving issues is the PPP's responsibility in Sindh. He acknowledged the vital role of Karachi's business community in the country's development, noting that the challenges faced by them are well-known.
He contrasted Karachi's situation today with the past, highlighting the absence of extortion demands and threats to personal safety.
He further said that forcing industries to shut down or coercing workers to attend protests has ceased. He attributed this progress partly to PPP and CM Murad's efforts.
He encouraged the use of public-private partnerships to tackle issues like infrastructure, utilities, and economic development in Sindh. He underscored the importance of digitisation and finding collaborative solutions for the betterment of Karachi and its business sector.
