LAHORE: Pakistan Peoples Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari expressed optimism saying that people will grant PPP an opportunity in upcoming general elections 2024 through their votes.

Addressing workers here, he said if voted to power, his party will construct three million houses for people. PPP Chairman pledged to fulfill ten promises outlined in party manifesto, ensuring free electricity for up to three hundred units. Earlier, Bilawal Bhutto said that party will contest elections 2024 from every constituency and it is contesting elections to win.

Bilawal said, We do not believe in politics of hatred and division and will take our manifesto to people and contest elections based on that, as done by our ancestors, Quaid-e-Awam Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto.

He stated that PPP10-point agenda and economic plan it contains will be conveyed to people saying that We have to make people of Raiwand understand that if they wish to form government of people, labourers, farmers and students, then PPP is sole option, not PML-N or PTI.

Bilawal promised to provide free of cost, quality healthcare as they have done in different districts of Sindh, including NICVD, Gambat, SIUT etc as these are not mere claims, like PML-N and PTI. “For last 30 years, party [referring to PML-N] has ruled Lahore, but its condition is worse than any other city in country.

He blamed former military dictator Gen Ziaul Haq and former ISI chief Gen Hamid Gul for imposing PML-N on Punjab to keep PPP away. He said that his party’s foundation was laid in Lahore, and his mother, Shaheed Benazir Bhutto had chosen this city on her return from exile in 1986.
