MUZAFFARABAD: Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari strongly criticised the international community yesterday for "turning a blind eye" to India's savagery in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), saying it was "not wise to sacrifice timeless principles for short-term interests". Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that holding G-20 countries’ tourism group meeting in Srinagar was sheer violation of UN resolutions on Kashmir. Addressing special session of AJK legislative Assembly, he said that people of Kashmir had been denied of their basic right of self- determination for decades and now holding such meeting in most militarized zone of world was not prove that normalcy had returned adding right of people could be usurped in region.
Meanwhile, delegation of refugees hailing from Illegally Indian Occupied Jammu and Kashmir called on Bilawal Bhutto in AJK State metropolis and apprised him of its reservations regarding G20 conference being held in Srinagar. Delegation appreciated role of Foreign Minister with regard to movement of independence of Kashmir. Delegation also informed about brutalities by Indian forces against refugees coming to Azad Kashmir from IIOJK in 1990.
