LAHORE: Pakistan Peoples’ Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari who is in Lahore for another two days has instructed his party leadership to complete preparations for elections in province by next week.

 According to PPP Central Punjab, Bilawal wiall hold consultative meetings with party leaders in wake of Supreme Court decision regarding elections in Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

These consultations will be done regarding electoral preparations. PPP Central Punjab Acting Chairman Rana Farooq Saeed, who met him said that Bilawal was on private trip to Lahore to attend function. He said that Chairman ordered them to complete their preparations for elections within week.

He said that the Chairman was of view that party should be fully prepared for elections in province. Farooq said that, they will brief PPP leader and Bilawal’s aunt Faryal Talpur regarding party preparations via zoom. He added that next week, they will give presentation to Chairman on matter.

Party is expected to give known leaders of party go-ahead, to begin their electoral campaign. He said that so far, understanding is that party will contest elections without any seat adjustment; however, final decision rests with party’s senior leadership.
