Bilawal calls 26th amendment a historic milestone in meeting with PM Shehbaz

LAHORE: People’s Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari met with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif in Lahore, where he hailed the approval of the 26th Constitutional Amendment as a historic achievement.
During his visit to the Prime Minister's residence, Bilawal was accompanied by Governor Punjab Sardar Saleem Haider. He stated, "We will collaborate to strengthen Parliament and democracy," adding that the 26th Constitutional Amendment will serve as a robust law against anti-democratic forces.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif attributed the success of the amendment to the coalition parties, affirming, "We have not stepped back from serving the people in the past, and we will not do so now." He also noted improvements in the country’s economic indicators, highlighting a decline in inflation.
