‘Bilawal Bhutto promises to abolish 17 ministries after coming to power’

SANGHAR: Pakistan Peoples’ Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari promised to abolish 17 ministries and save over Rs 300 billion for people of Pakistan.
Addressing public gathering here, Bilawal said that two parties will have tough competition in election 2024 however PPP will claim victory as PML-N is yet to announce its manifesto and has no preparation for upcoming polls. He said PPP would ensure schooling for all girls and boys of school-going age and implement Article 25-A of Constitution in letter and spirit.
“We would ensure provision of quality primary schools within 30 minutes travel time and quality middle/secondary schools within 60 minutes travel time in all communities,” he said, while announcing stipend for school-going children in rural and low-income urban communities.
“At least 3 million climate homes to be built and women heads of household to get legal titles of property,” he said, adding katchi-abadis to be regularised and inhabitants to get ownership. In an apparent reference to Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz supreme leader Nawaz Sharif, Bilawal Bhutto stated that an individual devoid of vision and clear manifesto aspires to become Prime Minister for fourth time despite continuous failures.
Addressing rally in Badin, he asserted that upcoming elections on February 8 are an opportunity for people to form government of their choice, urging masses to vote for PPP. Bilawal emphasised party’s nationwide efforts, presenting their manifesto to people in all four provinces. He pledged to implement ten points outlined in their manifesto once in power.
That person only believes in conspiracies. On other hand, we believe in serving people. That person only wants to rule people. He expressed confidence in strength of people, their ability to discern conspiracies and party’s commitment to serving public.
