President Joe Biden passionately urged the United States to demonstrate global leadership by supporting both Israel and Ukraine.

In a speech from the Oval Office, he stated that defeating Hamas and Russia was of paramount importance to U.S. interests. The 80-year-old president announced his intention to urgently request funding from Congress to assist Ukraine and Israel, emphasizing that this investment was crucial for the United States' long-term role on the world stage.

Biden stressed the role of American leadership in maintaining global stability and preventing threats posed by organizations like Hamas and leaders like Putin. He noted that while Hamas and Russia represented different challenges, they shared a common goal of harming neighboring democracies. He expressed his determination to prevent terrorists and tyrants from succeeding and highlighted the importance of supporting critical partners like Israel.

Furthermore, Biden acknowledged the need to consider the well-being of innocent Palestinians who aspire to live in peace. He underscored that American national security required support for these critical partners, describing it as a wise investment with lasting benefits for American security for generations to come.

Fresh from his recent trip to Israel, President Biden aimed to gain support from a diverse range of voters as he prepares for his 2024 re-election campaign. His 15-minute speech called for national unity to address the critical threats posed by these conflicts, despite their geographical distance from the United States.
