Karachi: Minister for Climate Change, Senator Sherry Rehman in her message on death anniversary of Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto (ZAB) said Bhutto family, Pakistan Peoples’ Party and nation were waiting for justice in judicial murder case of their leader for past 44 years.

Minister said, “On occasion of Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto’s 44th Martyrdom Day, I pay tribute to his courage, sacrifices and services for country and nation.” She said leader of nation, creator of 1973 consensus Constitution, nuclear power and democracy could never be forgotten.

Senator Rehman said he made people and Parliament center of power and decision-making. People’s leader was taken away from us through judicial murder, she added.

She said that darkest judgment was blot on face of judiciary, adding, “Through an organised plan decision was made against leader of people. Role played by our justice system in killing of leader of people makes one bow in shame.”

Former President Asif Ali Zardari filed reference in 2011 for justice in judicial killing of Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto. “For last 12 years that reference is buried under files in High Court,” Sherry Rehman regretted.
