Bat will always remain PTI election symbol: Afzal Marwat

PESHAWAR: PTI senior Vice President Sher Afzal Marwat has said bat was and will remain election symbol of party. He said this while talking to media men outside PHC here. He said concerned authorities should take notice of Pervez Khattak statement. Only Election Commission can offer electoral symbol of bat. He inquired what was need to offer symbol of bat. Pervez Khattak has established his own party in comparison to PTI. Sher Afzal Marwat said statement given by Pervez Khattak indicate links between him and EC.

PTI founder had nominated me from NA-32 Peshawar to contest election. I have filed my nomination papers from my respective constituency Lakki Marwat for National Assembly seat. This has to be decided I have to contest election. He held that soon founder PTI will be granted bail in Toshakhana, Al Qadir trust and other cases.

How there will be transparent election when its election symbol is withdrawn from party. Voters are being deprived of their right to vote, he added.
