ISLAMABAD: PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar and JUI-F leader Maulana Fazlur Rehman in phone conversation touched on current political climate and parliamentary matters in Pakistan.

During call, Barrister Gohar and Maulana Fazlur Rehman exchanged views on political situation in country.

Barrister Gohar expressed his best wishes for Maulana Fazlur Rehman and acknowledged his leadership within JUI. He congratulated him and Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Haidari on being re-elected as Chief and General Secretary of JUI respectively.

Conversation is part of ongoing consultations between PTI and JUI, particularly on matters related to constitutional amendments.

Both parties are reportedly continuing their discussions on this critical issue. Maulana Fazlur Rehman also touched on importance of allowing political gatherings.

He labeled such actions as undemocratic, calling for unity and cautioning against political meddling by provincial governments.

He criticised current Parliament, stating it had no authority to enact significant amendments, which he referred to as "Fake Parliament."
