Bangladesh beats Afghanistan to enter final super four

ISLAMABAD (Perwaiz A. Shaikh) Bangladesh has managed to make it to the final Super four by defeating Afghanistan by 2-12 runs in the ongoing 15th BFA West Asia Baseball Cup 2023 at the Islamabad Sports Complex.While Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Palestine had already entered the final super four league.

Bangladesh won against Afghanistan by clear marjon of 12-2 runs. From winning side Imran khan, jony, Mosabirul score 2 each, while Redoan Hussain, Abdul Salam, Shahid Ahmed, Ameen Hussain, Muhammad Rippon, Dibaqar 1 run each.Abdul Ghafoor and Dilawar scored 1 run each from Afghanistan. In second match In India beat Nepal by 15-0 to registred thier only victory in last group match.Ankit and Rukaish scored 4 runs each, Gurjanj 2, while Nandan, Narindar, Shihabuddin, Sulkiffal and Lakhan lal 1 run each.

In the last league match, Palestine beat Srilanka by 10-0. On behalf of the winning team,Daylan Renard and Ibrahim Shalabi scored 3 runs each while Malik Abdullah and Tariq Suboh 2 runs each with one home run by later one. Governor Gigit Syed Mehdi Shah was the chief guest while Ambassador of Palestine Ahmed Rabei was the guest of honor to whom Pakistan Federation Baseball President and BFA Vice President Syed Fakhar Ali Shah introduced the teams and officials.

According to Media Manager PFB  Parvez Ahmad Sheikh, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh,Pakistan and Palestine will compete in the super four league rounds.Top two teams will qulafy for the final.Today on monday Palestine will meet Bangladesh while Pakistan to face Srilanka.
