Ban on GB Police: IHC summons AIS

ISLAMABAD: Islamabad High Court (IHC) has summoned additional interior secretary level officer today in petiton against interior ministry notification banning Gilgit-Baltistan (GB) police from escorting GB chief minister to other provinces. Court has also summoned reply from federal government besides remarking ban has been imposed under what law.

Case came up for hearing befoe single bench of IHC led by Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kiayani here yesterday. Lawyers Mian Ali Ishfaq Qadir Janjua and Ahad Khokhar appeared in court on behalf of petitioners. –Online
