Balochistan CM orders action against wheat hoarders, profiteers

QUETTA: Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Abdul Quddus Bizenjo directing commissioners of province to expedite operations against hoarders and profiteers of wheat in their respective divisions has said daily progress report of operations be furnished to ‘Monitoring Cell’ set up in Chief Minister’s Secretariat, Quetta with Captain (retd) Jamil Baloch, Additional Secretary, Chief Minister’s Secretariat as Desk Incharge, according to statement issued by Chief Minister’s Secretariat here.

He said that district administration of bordering district must ensure preventing smuggling of wheat besides taking indiscriminate action against those involved in hoarding of wheat to create artificial dearth of wheat. In order to monitor crises of wheat and flour and to monitor operations  against profiteers and hoarders, ‘Monitoring Cell’ had been set up in Chief Minister’s Secretariat with Captain (retd) Jamil Baloch Additional Secretary, Chief Minister’s Secretariat as Desk Incharge with task of furnishing reports of actions taken against hoarders and profiteers of wheat to Chief Minister Balochistan.
