KARACHI: Ayesha Farooqui visited Karachi after being elected unopposed as Chairperson of Handicraft Association. Ceremony was organised in her honour on behalf of women of Handicraft Sindh at local hotel in which Ayesha Farooqi participated as chief guest.

Vice Chairperson Asma Amir, EC member Sindh Nida Nawab, EC member Balochistan Bagiya Zahri, Director AZB Global Trade and Exhibition Asma Wajid, Quratul Ain, Asma Adil, Hina Imran, Asma Rehman, Chairman AZB Global Trade and Exhibition Syed Turab Shah, Mudassar Alam, Jamshed of Human Rights and women members participated. 

Women members congratulated Ayesha Farooqui, for being elected as chairperson of Handicraft Association uncontested and bouquets of flowers and gifts were also presented. Ayesha Farooqui said that after being elected as Chairperson for two years, I will try my best to make more women members on merit. I will play my full role for exhibition of handicrafts in Pakistan and abroad and will promote domestically and internationally skills of women related to handicrafts from all over Pakistan. In this regard, I have first visited Karachi to promote talented women of Karachi and Sindh.
