Availability of basic facilities fundamental right of every citizen: Gov Tessori

Karachi: Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori said that availability of basic facilities is fundamental right of every citizen which cannot be deprived and it is fact that economic, economic and commercial activities depend on electricity. There is question mark that has not been addressed yet. Addressing seminar ‘National Policy Dialogue’ Governor said that at present there is series of announced and unannounced load shedding in city, most of citizens are seen complaining about over-billing. He said that today basic facilities of water, infrastructure and electricity and gas are not available in city, economic problems cannot be solved only by holding conferences and seminars. He said that economic problems should be solved through practical measures and everyone has to pay taxes as responsible citizen for development of country.

Chief Executive of Trade Development Authority of Pakistan Zubair Motiwala, Chief Executive Officer of K Electric Monis Abdullah Alvi and other senior officials participated in seminar.
