Mumbai: Australia Women levelled the 3 match T20I series 1-1, beating India Women by 6 wickets today, at the Dr DY Patil Sports Academy, Mumbai. Australia Women won the toss and elected to bowl first. India Women scored 130 /8, with Deepti Sharma top scoring with 31. Georgia Wareham was the most effective bowler for Australia Women, taking 2/17.

In the run chase, Australia Women had a good start in the powerplay, scoring 47 runs. Ellyse Perry led the chase with 34 runs, and there was a partnership of 51 runs between Alyssa Healy and Beth Mooney.

Richa Ghosh played a crucial role in the field, taking 3 catches. However, Australia Women won the match by 6 wickets, with 6 balls remaining,  thanks to Phoebe Litchfield 18* and  Ellyse Perry34* at the end.
