ATC adjourns hearing of land grabbing case against Haleem Adil

KARACHI: An Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) adjourned hearing on bail petition of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) opposition leader Haleem Adil Sheikh in land-grabbing case.
PTI leader appeared before court in land grabbing case. Haleem told court that at time of this incident he was in Sindh Assembly. He added that case registered against him is political and accused in this case were seen in pictures with Pakistan Peoples’ Party leaders. Police couldn’t present arguments on bail petition due to lack of files.
Furthermore, bail petition was transferred to ATC in central jail and anti-terrorism court adjourned hearing till January 5. Earlier, ATC granted bail to PTI opposition leader in land-grabbing case. According to complaint, PTI leader along with three other persons illegally occupied 40 acres of public land in Northern Bypass.
