LARKANA: Assistant Commissioner of Larkana Ahmed Ali Soomro travelled in Peoples’ Bus started by Sindh Government’s Mass Transit Authority. He met staff and found out their problems. Employees told him that there was a dire need to remove encroachments on ways so that citizens could reach their destination on time and buses could be able to move freely.

Soomro reminded them that route of Bus Service would be inspected on daily basis along with Anti-Encroachment Force personnel and wherever there were obstacles, they would be removed so that Bus Service will not be affected. Soomro said that four months ago, district administration prepared a route plan for Bus Service, but roads were damaged due to unprecedented rains.

He said that at present, only four buses were running but after increase in number of passengers, one more bus had been added. He said that all buses wouldl cover a distance of eight kilometers from New Bus Stand to Quaid Awam Engineering University, fare of which was Rs 30 per passenger and this service was free for students.
