Asif Zardari’s efforts turn successful: Former PTI lawmakers join PPP

Lahore: Ex-members and ticket holders from southern Punjab have announced that they are quitting PTI and joining Pakistan Peoples’ Party.

Meeting was held at Bilawal House here where PPP co-Chairman Asif Ali Zardari met with senior PPP leader Yousaf Raza Gilani and other party leaders as well as new members. Pakistan Peoples’ Party co-Chairman Asif Ali Zardari stepped up efforts to take on board Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf deserters ahead of general elections.

Former MNA Qutub Farid Koreja, Raees Akmal Warran, Sardar Shamsher Mazari, Syed Qasim Ali Shamsi from, Farheen Batool, Abdul Aziz Kallank, former MPA Rasool Bakhsh Jatoi, Peer Jafar Muzammil Shah, Sardar Allah Wasaya, Muhammad Alamdar Abbas Qureshi and Malik Abdul Ghaffar Arain announced their inclusion in PPP.

Furthermore, Syed Jameel Shah, Syed Rashid Shah, Sheikh Dilshad Ahmed, Bilal Mustafa, Syed Tahseen Nawaz, Mian Ali Haider Wattoo, Mian Salman Ayub, Mian Aamir Haider Wattoo, Ilyas Khan, Amjad Khan Niazi, Muzammil Khan, Omar Masood Farooqi and others also announced their inclusion in PPP after meeting with Asif Zardari.
