Lahore: Pakistan Peoples' Party co-Chairman Asif Ali Zardari expressed optimism about emerging 'Victorious' in upcoming general elections.

Former President held meeting with delegation of Christian community here. Zardari and delegation had discussed matters in connection with election campaign in NA-127. Zardari claimed, 'Bilawal Bhutto Zardari’s 10-point agenda will change destiny of country.'

He vowed to safeguard rights of minorities by enacting legislation in an 'Effective' way if voted into power. 'Only PPP will be seen fighting for rights of minorities. PPP and Christian community in country are having strong connection,' Zardari said.

Few days back, Raja Pervaiz Ashraf claimed that his party will spring its surprise in Punjab in upcoming elections, slated to happen on February 8.

Ashraf said, 'When any political party does not get majority in elections, then there is option to opt for an alliance with other political parties'.
