In a statement here, he said that putting life of a journalist under threat just because of difference of opinion is highly condemnable act.

PPP co-Chairman Asif Zardari in past also have raised his voice against all kinds of discrimination and maltreatment faced by the journalist community in the country and always talked about freedom of speech and expression which he thinks is the beauty of the democracy.

Not only in Pakistan, but all around the world journalists have to face difficulties in their routine work with regard to reporting and coverage of different happenings.

In addition to this, it is also the foremost duty of the media persons to remain firm and impartial when speaking the truth irrespective of cast, color and creed.
