LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Secretary General Asad Umar warned Chief Election Commissioner against violation of Constitution. Speaking to media, Umar warned ECP CEC that if he violates Constitution, he will be held accountable. Reminding electoral watchdog of its role, Umar claimed, “ECP was not showing neutrality.”
Blaming ECP for creating situation of political crisis in country, Umar said, “With existence of political crisis, situation of economic crisis was created.” He schooled Finance Minister Ishaq Dar, saying, “When Dar was abroad, he was giving tough time to former Finance Minister Miftah Ismail. He blamed Miftah for not dealing with International Monetary Fund in right way.”
Umar questioned, “If agreement was also underway with IMF, then on what issues were negotiations with international lender going”?
