Arts Council, Mir Anis, Bhittai Foundation organise event on ‘Message of Mir Anis’

Karachi: Arts Council of Pakistan Karachi, Miranis and Bhittai Foundation organised event on theme of Mir Anees and present era.

Abid Rizvi, Naseem Nazish, Abdul Basit expressed their views, Naheed Fatima, Kahkshan and Zeeshan Abidi presented speeches, Dr. Alia Imam said that it is necessary to awaken youth and we should learn lot from poetry, way poetry of Karbala was conveyed to people is unparalleled. Farast Rizvi said that message of Mir Anis is message of Hussain, he was great personality of Urdu poetry and people like him have been born in centuries.

There are three types of poetry, Mir Anis wrote his own elegy. Karbala’s elegy is status of great personality. Naseem Nazish said Mir Anis is great person. There is name that has no second, we are not, but name of Mir Anis will live forever. Anwar Haider said that time has come for Anis. There is no poet like Shah Abdul Latif Bhitai in Urdu, his poetry is symbolic poetry, Anis was not alone. Mir Anis and Abdul Latif Bhitai were both great poets, whether poetry or art is subject.
