Karachi: President Arts Council of Pakistan Karachi Ahmed Shah (SI) received recognition award for his exceptional contributions in connecting Pakistan to world through bridge of arts, culture, literature and fine arts. Award was presented by Senator Bob Archuleta of California Senate and Friends of Pakistan in USA. Ahmed shah is on visit to America, Friends of Pakistan an active literary and welfare organisation in America representatives and Senator Bob also participated in prestigious event held in Los Angeles.

Senator Bob said that Ahmed Shah’s services to literature and art are commendable. Ahmed Shah thanking organisers said that only literature and arts can connect world with each other and peace can be maintained in world by paying attention to culture and literature.

Arts Council Pakistan is not only playing its role in promotion of Pakistani literature and culture, but it is only cultural institution of Pakistan which is connected with world.

He said that International Cultural Conference in Karachi will be held soon in which cultural ambassadors and experts from around world will be invited.
