Karachi: Arts Council of Pakistan Karachi organised book launch of Prof. Mirza Qamar Abbas Wafa Kanpuri’s complete poetry collection ‘Kaliat Wafa’. Rizwan Mirza and Muazzam Ali Mirza presented Naat Maqbool. While moderater was Abbas Naqvi. Nayyar Souz, Aqeel Abbas Jafri, Iqbal Latif, Saira Jafri, Parvez Bilgrami, Ahmed Hassan expressed their views. Nayyer saz said that I congratulate on revelation of loyalty.

At same time, his spouse Dr. Saira Jafari also deserves this special tribute she did not allow poetic capital of Wafa to be scattered. Rather, by combining hard work with great love, Wafa spoke to this new literary life. Wafa also used to do calligraphy. Aqeel Abbas Jafari said that Wafa used to participate in poetry competitions held in seventies. And then after that he started attending religious meetings. And so his religious and accessible speech became his identity. Even today they are known more than same. What better identification could there be than that? Dr. Saira Jafari said that God’s intention is very high and this work was done according to his intention. It was not done as daughter-in-law. Rather, this work was done as fan of his poetry. Iqbal Latif, Rizwan Mirza, Aqeel Abbas Jafri, Parvez Bulgrani, Shabbir Hassan, Moazzam Ali were awarded.
