Arts Council Karachi, Japanese Consulate organised 2-day film festival

Karachi: Two days Japan film festival with collaboration of Art Council Pakistan Karachi and Japan Consulate was held. Anwar Maqsood participation was highly appreciated in film festivals. Consul General of Japan Odagiri Tosshio, Consul General Turkey Cemel Sanngu including President of Arts Council Ahmed Shah, politico and economical personalities participated in film festivals.
Consul General said that he is thankful to Anwar Maqsood and President of Arts Council to announce Japan festival. He said that many Pakistanis are willing to watch Japanese movies. That kind of festivals is best opportunity where both countries can easily learn culture and language of each other. Anwar Maqsood said, “I have flight of Houston next morning but I just come here only for my love to Japan. It is like dream, it’s like fresh breeze in such worst situation. I am huge fan of Japan directors, I have huge collection of all Japanese film. Japanese films also awarded with Oscar awards. Ahmed Shah said that Pakistan and Japan have rich with historical culture. Fatima Suriya Bajiya plays pivotal role to build strong relationship between Pakistan and Japan.
This kind of cultural programme brings both countries closer. We have foreign trade relationship with Japan. This kind of activities promote message of peace along with enhancement of beauty of country. Dad’s Lunch Box was screening on first day of festival which is really appreciated by audience.
