Arts Council holds event to remember SM Munir’s services

KARACHI: Arts Council of Pakistan Karachi held condolence meeting to remember businessman SM Munir aka Bhaijaan. President of Arts Council Ahmad Shah, business leaders Khalid Tawab, Ahmed Chinoy, Sami Khan, Mahmood Ahmed Khan, Hanif Gohar, Shahid Sarwana, Farazur Rahman, Irfan, Iqbal Latif, Imran, Rizwan Siddiqui, Huma Mir and number of business community participated. M Munir's passing away is great tragedy, he always taught brotherhood, we have to take his mission forward, he said.

Individual is nothing if whole team works together. Positive results are coming, today talent of thousands of children is in front of whole world. Arts Council has given them opportunities to move forward so that they can become something, he said. We have to come together so that SM Munir's sacrifice is not wasted.

Khalid Tawab said that we have lost diamond, SM Munir was such person who loved his opponents as well, he is being remembered all over world including Pakistan. Ahmed Chinoy said that brotherJohn was complete association in himself, he treated everyone with love, compassion and respect and such people are very rare in world. His loved ones are in world.

Sami Khan said that Bhaijaan was great leader and great example of service to people. He was principled person and our love for him has increased.

Hanif Gohar said that void created by departure of SM Munir can never be fulfilled, we will follow in his footsteps and fulfill all his wishes. Huma Mir said that Bhaijaan had given birth to Ahmed Shah 22 years ago. Iqbal Latif expressed that SM Muneer was name of love, we can never forget him. Rizwan Siddiqui said that SM Munir Talaq, lamp of memories and his light spans 35 years, I am captive of his love, his efforts can never be forgotten.
