Paris: Pakistani athlete Arshad Nadeem qualified for Paris Olympics 2024 in javelin throw competition. Arshad Nadeem’s first throw covered distance of 86.59 meters.

India’s Neeraj Chopra threw 89.34 meters in first round and qualified for javelin throw final. Javelin throw qualifying round competition held in Group-B competitions of Paris Olympics 2024. Pakistani javelin thrower Arshad Nadeem has made significant strides in his career since he began competing in 2015. Right after qualification, celebration at Arshad Nadeem’s house in Mian Chanu wherein family and loved ones of Arhsad Nadeem raised slogans of ‘Pakistan Zindabad’.

Arshad Nadeem is last hope of Pakistan to win any medal in mega sports event Paris Olympics 2024. In past, Arshad Nadeem stood at fifth position in Tokyo Olympics. Asian Athletics Championships: Won gold medal at the Asian Athletics Championships in Bangkok, Thailand, with a throw of 85.16 meters.
