KARACHI: Another Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) flight attendant has reportedly disappeared in Canada, bringing total count of missing staff from national carrier in Canada to 14.

According to sources, string of alleged disappearances of flight attendants on PIA’s Toronto route continues unabated. Latest case involves Noor Sher, member of 16-member flight attendant team assigned to flight PK 781 from Pakistan to Toronto, Canada. Noor Sher’s disappearance was noticed when he failed to report for his scheduled return flight, adding to tally of 14 male and female PIA staff who have gone missing in Toronto.  It has been reported that missing air attendants have applied for asylum in Canada. It’s noteworthy that female flight attendant, currently in detention in Toronto, had been posted on Toronto flight more than ten times. Despite specific instructions against her assignment on Toronto flight, she was repeatedly rostered for duty.
