Another fleet of buses reach Karachi: Sharjeel Memon

KARACHI: In bid to improve public transportation system in Karachi, Sindh Minister for Information and Transport Sharjeel Memon announced another fleet of buses, which will be part of Peoples Bus Service arrived in metropolis. He made announcement in post shared on his official twitter handle.

Taking to twitter, Minister said, “Good news, once again! New fleet of buses arrived in Karachi, which will allow start of new routes in just few days by Transport Department Sindh Government allowing further ease, access and mobility for public.”
Moreover, Minister shared that this is just beginning of initiative as more buses are slated to arrive in Karachi in coming months. “More buses will join Peoples Bus Service fleet during months of August and October,” he tweeted.
Last month, government launched smartphone app enabling intending passengers of Peoples Bus Service to live track movement of buses. New app is available for users of both iPhone and Android smartphones and enables them to find out bus fares, timings and other vital information about Peoples Bus Service. App will enable provincial government to monitor bus service in real time.
