Nikhil Nanda, businessman and son-in-law of Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan, has been booked for fraud and abetment to suicide in Uttar Pradesh's Badaun district, Times of India reported.
Nanda, who is married to Shweta Bachchan and is the grandson of Raj Kapoor, serves as the chairperson and managing director of Escorts Kubota, an agricultural machinery company. The case against him stems from allegations that he and his company's officials harassed and intimidated a tractor dealer, Jitendra Singh, pushing him to take his own life.
Singh, who ran a dealership in Dataganj, was allegedly pressured to meet sales targets under threats that his dealership license would be revoked and his property auctioned, according to a complaint filed by his brother. Singh, reportedly distressed over the situation, took his own life on November 22, just a day after company representatives visited his dealership.
His family had initially filed a complaint, but law enforcement allegedly failed to act, prompting a court to intervene. Following a court order, a case was formally registered against Nanda and other officials of Escorts Kubota on charges of fraud, intimidation, and abetment to suicide.Neither Nanda nor the Bachchan family has issued an official response to the allegations.
In viral pictures and videos circulating online, Abhishek was seen leading the way out of the airport, while Aishwarya and Aaradhya follow closely behind. As they reached their car, Abhishek was seen holding the door open for Aishwarya and Aaradhya, ensuring they settled in comfortably. Once inside the vehicle, Aishwarya took a moment to greet the paparazzi with a warm "Happy New Year, God bless."
For the journey, Abhishek opted for a grey hoodie paired with black tracks, while Aishwarya kept it simple in a black sweatshirt and jeggings. Aaradhya, on the other hand, added a pop of colour to the family's attire with a bright blue sweatshirt.
