Karachi: Former wicketkeepers, Rashid Latif and Moin Khan, believe that Mohammad Amir is a brilliant player and can still represent Pakistan team.

Left-arm pacer had called time on his international career in 2020 in protest over the treatment he had received from the then-management, led by Misbah ul Haq. According to recent media reports, an important member of Pakistan selection committee had contacted Amir’s manager and asked him to communicate to the left-arm pacer to be prepared for international comeback. However, the top officials of PCB have denied these reports and have said that there is no immediate possibility of Amir returning to the Pakistan team.
